Best time to ski in Leogang

Leogang has an epic snow record. And snow cannons keep the pistes topped up if needed. But for the best powder, hit the slopes in January and February.

As you’d expect, the slopes get more lively during the Christmas, Half Term and Easter holidays, but families will love the festive cheer and friendly Austrian vibe.

Want to avoid the crowds? Late Feb or early March are your best bet. You might pick up a good deal at this time too.

Things to do in Leogang

Get your après ski started on the slopes at one of the hundreds of mountain huts in the Ski Circus region. Or head to KrallerAlm for a slice of crispy wood-fired pizza washed down with an ice-cold beer.

Tired legs? Take a layday! Zip around the ice rink, make a splash in the heated outdoor pool, or cruise through snowy meadows on a horse-drawn sleigh. And if that all sounds too leisurely, soar at high speed through the mountains on the Flying Fox XXL zip wire, or hurtle down the Leos Kufengaudi toboggan run - scream if you want to go faster!
